welcome.

Hi there,

It’s always been about words for me. Without the right words, we can’t come out, be heard, or make a statement. When someone holds up a mirror to us with their words, we are stirred, invigorated, released. But words also remind us of ways we are unfree, ways our people are unfree. Words can alienate. Words can be an assault to our nervous system. Words can name, and words can heal.

I am a queer therapist, educator, and writer. With my work I tap into ancestral oral tradition, and while we inherit our stories, as I always say “there is room to edit!” I am trained as a Licensed Clinical Psychologist, and I have also worked as a professor, training director, professional editor, consultant, and facilitator.

Words are my life. Let me help you find yours.
